On the white birch trunk.
A small green ripple.
I watched for a while.

Behind me,
the sound of someone passing by.

The next day.
I learned it was a moth.

白樺の幹。
緑の小さなうねりを
しばらく見ていた。

人が通りすぎる足音。

蛾だと知る。
