A plowed field. Pigeons are there.
They peck at what has been brought to the surface.
A scene that never makes the news.
No one tries to chase them away.
A field made by people.
The pigeons gather.
But no one can say, “Don’t plant crops.”
The seasons pass.
Next year, the same scene will be there again.
掘り起こされた畑に鳩がいる。
表面に出てきたものを、つついている。
ニュースにならない光景。
誰も追い払う気配はない。
人が作った畑。
鳩が集まる。
だけど、作物を植えるなとも言えない。
こうして季節は過ぎる。
来年も、また同じ光景を見る。
